ロータリークラブの例会で、去年のコロンビアとメキシコへの旅について卓話しました。
国際親善を目的としたRotaryの青少年交換プログラムで、高校の時にアメリカに派遣していただいてから18年のお付き合いとなる日本橋東ロータリークラブの方々に私の旅の記録をお見せできて良かったです。
コロンビアとメキシコで感じた原住民の人たちの紡いできた多様な文化や思想は、これから私たちが社会を良くすることを考える時に一番大切なことを教えてくれると思いました。
これからも世界を探究し続けて、私自身の思想や価値観も豊かなものにしていきたいと思っています。
I spoke about my trip to Colombia and Mexico from last year at a Rotary club meeting,
I am glad that I was able to show my travel records to the members of the Nihonbashihigashi Rotary Club, who have known me for 18 years since I was sent to the United States when I was in high school, in Rotary's youth exchange program for the purpose of international goodwill.
I believe that the diverse cultures and thoughts of the indigenous people in Colombia and Mexico will teach us the most important thing when we think about improving society in the future.
I would like to continue exploring the world and enrich my own thoughts and values.
